Overview: The super-clear waters of Catalina are ideal for the snorkeling enthusiast. Lover’s cove is a favorite spot due to its protective fishing status. The fish seem to know they can’t be caught. You may rent Mask, Snorkel and Fin sets for 24 hrs, along with wetsuits and booties, on-line to insure they will be available when you want them. Both shorty suits and full size suits are available. The average ocean temperature hovers around 70 - 75 degrees F. in August, making it the warmest ocean water off the coast of California. The weather on Catalina Island is described as a mild subtropical climate with warm year-round temperatures. The spring and fall water temperatures range from 65-70 degrees F. The shore line has numerous small rocks and booties are preferred by most of our customers.

How it works: Pickup your Snorkeling Equipment at the “Catalina Scuba Luv” office 126 Catalina Ave. and visit Lovers cove or Descanso Beach, which are both within walking distance from the center of town. (See map). You may choose your pickup time when making your reservation. You make keep them up to 24 hrs. A credit card impression will be required for security purposes at pickup, however no addition charges will be made unless equipment is damaged or not returned. 24 Hr. Overview: The Waverunners operate from the “Jet Ski Barge” anchored offshore from the island. We provide transportation to the barge with the harbor shore boats. There is approximately ten square miles of ocean for your enjoyment. You can ride single or double during your hour ride. You can switch off riders at the Jet Ski Barge. We supply all equipment and instruction. Children 5 to 15 may ride as passengers only, with an adult. Sixteen and Seventeen year olds may operate the waverunner if their legal guardian rides with them. Eighteen year old and older persons may operate waverunners without restrictions.
What to bring and wear: You are going to get wet on this one, so wear your bathing suit, bring a towel, and sunscreen.
How it works: You will check in at our “Jet Ski/Electric Bike Office at 101 Pebbly Beach Rd” as show on the map 15 minutes prior to your reserved time. You will be added a group of any other customers reserved at the same time and directed to the shore boat with a group voucher for you short trip to the “Jet Ski Barge.” Upon reached the barge you will be fitted with a life vest and instructed on the operation and safety issues of your watercraft / waverunner. Your 1 hour time will commence once you take off with your waverunner. You may return to the barge during your hour to switch riders if you wish. At the end of your hour you retuned to the barge and your group will be picked up by the shore boat and returned to the Green Pleasure Pier Single Waverunner Rental is $144.00 per hr. 1 or 2 Riders Only All taxes and fees are included in pricing.

Parasail Fly Single, Double or Triple! How It Works: We can take up to 15 passengers at a time on all three Coast Guard inspected vessels. Our friendly, experienced crew will assist you throughout your trip. One at a time the crew will assist you in securing your life vest and harness. Once they have launched the chute you will be asked to walk to the back deck of the boat so they can clip you in. You will sail away without ever touching the water. After your hang time in the chute you will be brought back down to the boat. Lift your legs and land on your feet from the same spot you took off from.
What To Expect: You'll see amazing views views and experience the truly unforgettable feeling of parasailing up to 800 feet above the clear blue waters and town of Avalon. You can fly with out ever getting wet or you can ask for a thrill and tell them to dip your feet in the water!
